Terms of Service

Welcome! These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover your use of freebulkemailverifier.com and the email verification service behind it (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service does

The Service checks whether email addresses you submit — singly, in bulk CSV uploads, or through the API — are likely to accept mail. Checks include syntax validation, DNS lookups, live SMTP handshakes and provider-level identity checks. Results reflect deliverability at the moment of the check; mail servers change their minds, so we cannot guarantee any message you later send will actually be delivered.

2. Your account

You need an account for bulk uploads and the API. Keep your password and API keys secret; activity under your account is your responsibility. You must be at least 16 (or the age of digital consent where you live) and give us accurate signup information.

3. Free tier and credits

New accounts receive 100 free verification credits — no card required. The website also offers a small number of free single checks per day, tracked by IP address. One credit buys one verification. Unknown results are never charged on single checks and are refunded automatically on bulk jobs. Credits are non-transferable, and we may adjust free-tier limits to keep the Service sustainable.

4. Paying for more

Credit packs are sold through Stripe, our payment processor; your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. Prices are in US dollars, exclusive of any applicable taxes. Used credits are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.

5. Fair use

Please don't use the Service to: verify lists harvested or purchased in violation of applicable law (including GDPR, CAN-SPAM and PECR); support unsolicited bulk email; hammer, probe or reverse-engineer our infrastructure; bypass quotas, rate limits or the anti-abuse challenge; or resell the Service without our written permission. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Your lists stay yours

You keep all rights to the lists you upload. We process submitted addresses only to give you verification results — see the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for having a lawful basis to check the addresses you submit.

7. Service changes

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or retire features at any time, and will make reasonable efforts to give notice when a change materially affects something you've paid for.

8. No warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Verification depends on third-party mail servers we don't control, and results may occasionally be wrong or incomplete.

9. Liability cap

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.

10. Ending things

You can delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. Sections 6, 8, 9 and 11 survive termination.

11. The boring-but-important bits

These Terms are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these Terms; continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept it. Questions: support@freebulkemailverifier.com.
